Smile attack from Max
Hi! I'm Max from the Netherlands. I have left the beautiful city of Rotterdam to live in Kandersteg for three months - the best decision of my life! This week I have been chosen to be the Smile of the week.
KISC makes me smile because of so many reasons. First of all, I have met new people from so many different cultures and nationalities (>20). In the next weeks we will meet scouts who are participating in the work parties @ KISC, and I'm really looking forward to getting to know enthusiastic scouts from Germany, Spain, The Netherlands and Slovakia.
Here in Kandersteg, the surroundings are amazing, the work is cool and in our free time we can do amazing things (visiting Bern & Thun, climb at the high ropes course in Interlaken, airboarding in Adelboden and much more). The weather here is another thing that makes me smile. We started the season with lots of snow and I had the opportunity to go sledding and to learn how to ski. Now spring has started and the snow has melted. Or maybe not, every now and then new snow falls and it all looks like a winter wonderland again. Last week we even decided to play Christmas songs because of the snow! The last two weeks, friends and family from home visited me, and I had the chance to show them this beautiful place where I'm blessed to stay.
Speaking of friends and family, All staff members together form a great family and they will always be part of my life! I have fallen in love with KISC and I can recommend everybody to apply as Pinkie, it is a super experience!
PS: Last I would like to thank my smile of the week campaign manager, Floris (2, NL) who made awesome vote for Max posters.02.05.2016
