Hi, it’s Stav from Israel and your smile of the week. So let’s ask the question that everyone is thinking about: why was I chosen for smile of the week? I’ll tell you the truth I really don’t know. At first, I thought that the staff members decided to do a joke but then I realized that they were serious and that they really thought that I was the most smiling person this week. So I’m going to accept the challenge and step up.
So, there are lots of reasons to smile here at KISC. Let’s start with the first thing that I saw when I got to KISC, the view! It’s absolutely magical. A wonderful valley surrounded by white mountains. The Kandersteg Valley is a breathtaking sight and it was the reason for my first smile here. I’m particularly happy this week because the snow is finally back and I can go skiing on a fresh soft snow on my days off and also with the groups that I’m guiding.
Now, I’m going to ask you to forget about the snow and the view. They are really great reasons for smiling, but they are not THE reason for my happiness. I believe that the joy and smile in life are in the small things, for example, eating a good meal or listening to a really good song. But the most important “little” thing in life is spending time with your family. People tend to forget about this “little” reason for happiness, and that’s a shame. I think that every moment that you spend with your family is the happiest moment in the world. Right now I have two families: I have my family back at home, and I have the KISC family. The staff team here is the most amazing thing that I have ever seen. People from all over the world that got together and created a unique family full of cultures, ideas and most importantly — joy! Every moment at KISC with this awesome family is a reason to be happy. In conclusion, The KISC family is THE reason for my smile this week.
