Jedes Jahr am 1. August feiert die Schweiz Geburtstag! Auch wir nutzen die Gelegenheit und feiern mit. Der Tag beginnt für alle Gäste mit einem gemeinsamen Frühstück auf dem Zeltplatz, welches ein Gefühl von internationaler Freundschaft vermittelt. Vormittags finden auf dem Zentrumsgelände, dem Zeltplatz und rund ums Dorf viele Aktivitäten statt. In den letzten Jahren haben wir zum Beispiel einige von den folgenden Aktivitäten angeboten:
- Mini Golf
- Fussball
- Schwimmen
- Erdball
- Ultimate Frisbee
- Volleyball
- Besuch des Dorfmuseums
- Pionierarbeit
- Workshops
- Abseilen
Am Nachmittag wird das Sportfeld auf dem Zeltplatz zu einem riesigen Karnevalsgelände mit Vorführungen und Präsentationen unserer Gäste und Spielen für jedermann. Nutzt die Gelegenheit, eine kulinarische Spezialität, ein traditionelles Spiel oder Lieder eures Landes zu präsentieren und Pfadfindern aus aller Welt eure Kultur vorzuführen. Anschliessend organisiert das Zentrum für alle eine Grillparty. Am Abend feiern wir in einer kurzen Zeremonie den Schweizer Nationalfeiertag und nehmen am Umzug durchs Dorf teil. Gemeinsam mit Einheimischen und Touristen nehmen wir zum Abschluss an er offiziellen Feier im Dorf teil.

UNGUIDED HIKES
A selection of recommended hike routes in the Kandersteg area which you can lead your Scout Group on. The routes range from half-day strolls to multi-day routes traversing alpine passes.

HIGH ADVENTURE
KISC is surrounded by high mountains and eternal glaciers. Hike over an alpine pass, explore a glacier or challenge yourself at rock climbing.
